A few words from Dr. Cocchiola

Group Coaching provides protective parents with validation and support. This community will be larger but also will give the ability to connect with other protective moms and to ask questions that maybe others have on their mind also. I will offer coaching/support regarding parenting children harmed by a coercive controller - whether the children overtly fear him, are acquiescing, or aligning. Although I am not an attorney, I also offer support regarding custodial/divorce proceedings.

Most importantly, I will support elevating you as the protective parent you are. This includes creating the personal power that you need to disengage from the coercive controller and to support your child in their ability to create healthy boundaries.

Come with your pressing questions, the experiences of the week that pop up, and the stressful events that you are trying to navigate. Let's hash them out together.

My #1 priority beyond supporting protective parents is EDUCATION. Education will prevent future generations from suffering intergenerational trauma. I have created programming for over 30 years on the topics of child abuse, trauma, & coercive control. Most importantly, I am a Survivor and a Protective Mom.

Any Protective Mother navigating "escaping" the coercive controller, parenting children harmed by the coercive controller, and also those engaged in custodial/divorce proceedings.

HOW might this coaching/support help me?

Conversations that will guide you towards feeling validated in your own experiences and empowered to best support your children. There is always new information to be learned and Dr. C's community will be a supportive environment to hone your skills - to take on the 10,000-foot view of how the coercive controller/narcissistic abuser inflicts their harm. Together you will strengthen your resolve to heal yourself and your children while surrounding you with the support of other protective mothers.
