Dr. Fontes is very experienced and certified in many states as an expert witness. 

She can guide you in effectively supporting clients who are navigating the family court system.

Her training includes a writer’s workshop focused on preparing coercive control reports for submission to family court.

Course Content:
This small-group live virtual training will help participants to:
 Describe the experience and education necessary to be qualified as an expert witness in family and other courts;
 Understand the potential court roles which they are most suited to fill;
 Apply relevant research to specific cases;
 Formulate a plan for setting up an expert witness practice;
 Speak confidently in court, including under cross-examination;
 Understand the elements of written reports on coercive control/domestic violence and improve their ability to write and organize these.
